As a reminder, the idea of the two-state solution began after World War I, and after the defeat of the Islamic Caliphate (Türkiye), which was colonizing all Arab countries. The Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916 aimed to liberate all Arab countries from the hateful Ottoman (Turkish) colonialism and to give peoples the right to self-determination.
Since then, the two-state solution (a Jewish state and an Arab state) has been proposed. The Jews agreed to it, while the Arabs and the Islamic nation rejected it.
Then the two-state solution was renewed in the Balfour Declaration in 1917. It was rejected by the Arabs and the Islamic nation.
Then the two-state solution was renewed in the League of Nations resolution of 1922, and it was rejected by the countries and the Islamic nation.
The two-state solution was then renewed in UN Resolution No. 181 on November 29, 1947. It was rejected by the Arabs and the Islamic nation.
Britain announced that it would abide by the United Nations resolution and withdraw from the region on May 15, 1948.
On February 12, 1948, the Arab League refused to implement UN Resolution 181 and declared that it would enter a war to annihilate the Jewish state as soon as Britain withdrew from the region.
On May 15, 1948, Britain withdrew from the region, handed over its state to Israel, and handed over the Arab part to Egypt and Jordan.
On May 16, 1948, six Arab countries attacked the newly established state, which was only one day old. The Arab countries were collectively defeated and called the event the Nakba.
Then Egypt declared war on Israel in 1956 under the slogan “We will throw them into the sea.” They were defeated and Abdel Nasser declared victory. He rejected the two-state solution.
Then Egypt, Jordan and Syria declared war on Israel in 1967. They were defeated and it was called the Naksa .It was a crushing defeat for the three countries. The Khartoum Conference was held for Arab leaders and chiefs, and the conference came out with the three agreements: no peace… no reconciliation… no recognition of Israel.
Then came the 1973 war, and the Egyptian army crossed the canal and returned 15 kilometers west of the canal.
In 1977, a peace agreement was signed between Egypt and Israel. Egypt recognized Israel while reserving the right of the Palestinian people to a two-state solution.
In 1993, the Oslo I Accords were signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) to establish an autonomous Arab state in Palestine living in peace. However, the Arab and Islamic powers rejected the agreement.
In 1995, the Oslo II Accords were signed between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, which was also rejected by the Arab and Islamic powers.
When Yasser Arafat, the head of the Palestine Liberation Organization, faced criticism for signing a peace agreement with Israel, he smiled and said that it was like the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, which the Prophet signed with the infidels of Quraysh. The implication was that it was a temporary peace until he could arm himself and realize the Arab dream of killing Israeli men, raping their women, and enslaving their children.
After the dirty massacre committed by the Islamic Hamas organization on October 7, 2023. And the accompanying ideological Islamic support, Sunni and Shia, from Al-Azhar and the Shia authorities. And the marches of joy, cheering and popular jubilation from Muslims all over the world. Where they were distributing sweets in the streets in celebration of the killing of 1400 Israeli civilians and the kidnapping of 240 hostages, most of whom were children, women and the elderly, and they boasted about raping Israeli women and slaughtering Jewish children.
There is no longer a sane or insane person in Israel who would accept the two-state solution. It is considered a path from the south for Israel to allow the establishment of a state next to it whose constitution is to destroy it by killing its men, raping its women, and enslaving its children.
The war was a response from Israel and its right to defend itself. It declared from the beginning that the war had two goals, not three.
Its objectives are based on two main components:
1. Return all hostages held by Islamists to Gaza.
2. Destroy the Islamic military force that aims to annihilate Israel.
In a series of lies, fabrications and obfuscations led by the Islamic media, Islamic satellite channels have come out to us, praising and glorifying the successive victories of the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas over the Israeli army, while denying any defeat for Hamas or any other Islamic Jihad organizations.
Mr. Ibrahim Issa, the great media thinker, commented on the denial of the successive defeats of the Islamists, saying: Because you deny the truth, and based on this denial, you are being defeated more… the people being displaced and expelled from their homes, displaced from the trauma… Tens of thousands of martyrs, tens of thousands injured… Their homes are destroyed… Neighborhoods are completely devastated… Israeli tanks and armored vehicles are on the ground and from above in planes… and Israeli soldiers are walking in the streets of Gaza and taking pictures… So if this is not a defeat!!! Then what is a defeat!!! Ibrahim Issa \ Cairo Talk Program \ 2023.
But stubbornness, arrogance, and the Islamic stupidity that calls for the absence of reason continued to deny the defeat and continued to cheer and glorify the clear, false victory. Until the situation reached a stage that threatens the very existence of the Palestinian people, whether by extermination or displacement.
Therefore, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in cooperation with France, called for a global conference to save what could be saved of the Palestinian people. The New York conference was held at the United Nations headquarters, under the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France, and took place between July 28 and 30, 2025.
The following countries participated in this international conference: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, France, Britain, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Turkey, Indonesia, Senegal, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Norway, Japan, the European Union, and the League of Arab States.
The conference issued what is called the New York Conference Declaration:
We, the leaders and representatives gathered at the United Nations in New York from July 28 to 30, 2025, at a critical historic moment for peace, security, and stability in the Middle East, have decided the following in 42 articles.
Most of the articles in the declaration focused on the establishment of two states (a Jewish state and a Palestinian state).
The New York World Conference resolutions were a tiresome repetition of the two-state solution, with the phrase “the two-state solution” being repeated 14 times in the 42 articles: 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 19, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 35, 41, and 42.
In the series of lies, falsification and distortion, the conference forgot and ignored that the ones who have rejected the two-state solution since 1916 until now are the Arab and Islamic countries participating in the conference: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Türkiye and the League of Arab States.
The Arab League forgot that it was the one that imposed UN Resolution 181 in 1947. It was also the one that unanimously adopted the decision to go to war on February 12, 1948. It was the one that decided to attack Israel on May 16, 1948.
Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan forgot that they were with six other countries that rejected the two-state solution and attacked Israel on May 16, 1948.
Then Egypt forgot that it was the one that declared war of extermination against Israel in 1956. The declaration of war of extermination was repeated in 1967 in cooperation with Jordan and Syria.
Then Egypt forgot that after signing the peace agreement in 1977 with Israel, it was the one that allowed the construction of tunnels between Gaza and the Sinai Desert, the one that allowed the smuggling of weapons into Gaza, and the one that allowed the establishment of the Islamic State in Sinai. This then brought calamities upon Egypt itself.
Then the conference forgot that the Palestinian Authority had signed a peace agreement with Israel in Oslo (1) 1993 and Oslo (2) 1995. Then the Islamic terrorist organizations in Gaza turned against the Authority and violated the peace agreement. They carried out the massacre on October 7, 2023.
Thus, we see that throughout history, the Arab and Islamic nations have rejected the two-state solution since 1916. This categorical and absolute rejection was sealed by the vile massacre perpetrated by the Islamic Hamas organization on October 7.
The question here is: After this massacre, could there be a sane person in Israel who would agree to establish a state next to him who’s main and declared goal is to annihilate Israel: killing their men, raping their women, and enslaving their children?
Wait for me in the next article to follow up on the series of lies, hypocrisy and deceit that came in the New York International Conference’s decisions.
